The purpose to organise day camps is to integrate Polish children with their peers from immigrant environments in Poland. 50% of foreign children and 50% of Polish students will take part in one day camp (5 days). Day camps will be held during the periods free from classes, from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00. The day camp program will involve numerous attractions and trips to places that are especially important for the Opolskie Region and the whole Poland. The attractions include the Piast Tower in Opole, the Voivodship Office in Opole with a visit to the Voivode of Opole, a visit to the zoo, the University of Opole, a trip to Wroclaw, to the Mountain of Saint Anna, to Krakow. Active participation in various and common activities will enable to establish new contacts, overcome stereotypes, develop attitudes of openness, tolerance and intercultural dialogue.
